Senior Spirit Week continues with the long-honored tradition of Toga Day. In Roman times, togas were worn as formal wear. Now, colleges often use togas as a symbol during greek pledge week, which is why they are an essential part of Senior Week. Whether in the standard white or the extra colorful, our seniors slayed their ensembles like Julius Caesar.
Julia Miller and Ariana Lee, seniors, have fun on toga day. The chilly temperatures did not stop them.
Alyssa Ogle, Madelyn Smith, and Clay Sumner, seniors, pose in a more modern day look. The girls knew that their shoes completed the outfit.
Breaking tradition, Harvey Canty, senior, glamorized a fitted sheet. Canty made a new fashion statement for his senior year.
Jordan Starcher, and Sydney Peterson, seniors use accessories to make their togas a fashion statement. “I wanted to feel snatched in my toga,” Starcher said.
Instead of using a sheet, Andrea Escamillo, senior, chose a Snuggie. She chose warmth over fashion.
Zaire Simmons, senior expresses her Greek side in pink. She chose her favorite color over traditional white.
