Mustangs show their true colors

The traditions continued as color day brought unique hues to homecoming week. On Thursday, Oct. 24, students and teachers represented their grade level by wearing the color assigned by SGA. Compared to past years, the colors have remained the same: freshmen red, sophomores blue, juniors pink, and seniors purple.

Freshmen, having no prior experience, did not know what to expect going into their first color day, but showed out and enjoyed the festivities. In distinction to the freshmen, many sophomores came prepared this year with beads, colored hair spray, and various headwear.

Juniors, having the least amount of participation by 18 percent, were shown up by the seniors, whose attendance increased immensely. Despite wearing different colors, all students expressed unity throughout the week.
