IMG_4135 (1)Even in the low temperatures of early December, The Marching Mustangs paraded through the crowded streets of McDonough on December 6th. The assorted instrumentalists and color guard members bundled up and marched with pride as they celebrated a great season.
The parade started at 6:00 and lead to the McDonough Square with Santa following at the end of the festive event. The Mustang Marching Band was one of the first 10 to  in the parade. They played a Christmas Medley with the color-guard doing a routine to the music. The parade started at Henry County High School and traveled up to the square , around the square, and back to the high school, making about a mile walk for participants.
Many McDonough residents lined the streets to take part in the Christmas event and to watch the different floats created by the participants of the parade. The parade was successful and people are already looking forward to next year!
