This Thursday and Friday the musical cast of Rock of Ages will bring down the house at the Performing Arts Center. Tickets will be sold during lunch for ten dollars until Wednesday, or fifteen dollars at the doors.
Rock of Ages is a rock musical built around well-known classical rock songs from the 1980’s, mainly from the famous glam metal bands of that decade.
“Everyone’s having fun up there, the audience will have fun,” Hudson Akin, sophomore, said.
Akin is casted as Drew Boley, male lead in the performance.
“It’s just a drive and a motivation to stand up for something you love,” Marion Phillips, junior, said.
Phillips takes part in the ensemble and is a protester.
Tuesday during D lunch, the cast decided to come together and do a flash mob to raise awareness for the performance.
“[It was to] show other’s how much fun we have for the performance, and to show them what it is going to be like,” Elijah Schindley, freshman, said.
