Kortney Huggins, J1 mentor & Student Life editor

Kortney Huggins, senior, loves chicken wings, admires the color green and enjoys reading and writing. Over the last three years, she has learned the importance of independence, the highs and lows of friendships and trigonometry, all while working as the color guard captain. As an editor, she found herself through writing and discovered her style. Friends say she is an open-minded, understanding, trustworthy and organized individual. Although color guard keeps her schedule packed, Huggins works at Bethany Baptist with the preschoolers and focuses on developing her literary skills in the little free time she has. Due to it being her senior year, she has looked into Athens Technical school, with hopes to become an ultrasound technician. With big dreams and goals ahead of her, she plans to make her senior year the most memorable yet
