Explorer, animal-lover and indie-rock enthusiast, Jackson Weems, junior, is always down for a new adventure that will help him stay in tune with the great outdoors. Weems enjoys making such memories even more alongside his friends, who describe him as someone with uniquely honest wit. Weems’ creativity sets him apart from most— he loves to paint, draw and, most of all, write. Weems finds inspiration in everything- from his pet kittens and various reptiles to autumn leaves to thrift shopping, every part of the way the world interacts fascinates him. When Weems takes a break from artistic activities, he plays both club and Varsity school soccer and serves on the leadership board of FCCLA. Weems hopes to broaden his horizons as a writer this year.
